Bee in the City

Taking places in the Summer of 2018, Bee in the City was Manchester's largest ever public art display. With over 100 giant bees in the city, their trails took you to the city's historical landmarks and undiscovered gems. We created a film about the Manchester Science Partnership's Bee, BZZX, which was located outside the Bright Building at Manchester Science Park. It used recycled IoT tech sensors from Cisco and 3D printed elements from MSP customer, DiceyTech. Local Manchester artist, KrikSix brought BZZX to life - inspired by Transformers' character Bumblebee and robotics.
